For the Fancy Dev Diary:
Major Feature Updates/Added:
Overhauled the graphics of the report writing section of the game
Overhauled the graphics for the dialogue of the game
Gave the game a fresh coat of paint with new UI assets
Added audio hints and prompts for players for the Weavewaver
Reimplemented drag and look around camera to player viewport
Added a save and load system to the game.
Added voice-over framework for the game
Implemented a 3D model for Doliturne in the main menu of the game
Added Codex system, menus, and entries to the game
Created grayboxing for the main level environment
Added 3D models to the Weavewaver and Pen
Implemented a new interaction in the weavewaver
Someone mysterious now speaks to you at the beginning of the game
Revised the main menu
Enhanced the camera controls with players now being able to zoom in and out using their scroll wheel
Added additional rich text formatting to buttons in the game
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug where players could rotate the Weavewaver using their A and D keys.
Fixed a bug where part of the desk lamp would be invisible due to Unreal Engine Nanite.
Corrected an unintended “feature” where players could snap Doliturnes neck due to the camera viewport being unbounded.
Fixed the issue with cutscenes not playing due to a packaging error
Corrected formatting issues with report chunks in the Report Writer
Fixed the logic of “Send Report” button not being implemented correctly
Revised the story logic so that players wont get softlocked in the game
Fixed the Desk drawers not going all the way back in once they leave the intel selection menu, resulting in floating drawers. The deer may be magical, but they don’t live in a wizarding school.
